April 7, 2009: I had a great surprise when one of my best friends from high school called me up while I was driving home from Pennsylvania (see next post) to tell me that she and her family were in Ann Arbor! Froydis was a foreign exchange student from Norway during my senior year at Pioneer High School. It was great visiting and re-connecting!
April 2009: The Magnolia tree in our front yard is in full bloom now! It is really beautiful-- as well as really fragrant! The golfers are out too! Which means that the annual "sell the golf balls back to the golfers" sale is on! The girls (Katie and Elysa with friend Elizabeth) set up the table and signs all by themselves. Good ole entrepreneurship at work!
