March 20-21, 2009: Katie and Elysa participated in the Ann Arbor Figure Skating Club's 67th annual skating show. The theme was "World Tour" and had music from countries and singers from around the world. Katie was in the group called "Ireland" and skated with 12 other girls. She was pretty independent this year and seemed to have a great time hanging out with her group. My mother and I were the co-captains for Elysa's group ("China"). We had 11 little girls ranging in age from 4 years to 11 years old-- Elysa being the youngest. There were three shows-- Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday night--- all went well!! Lotsa fun!
